Prazilex (10 tablets)

The combination of Praziquantel and Levamisole offers a wider spectrum of Anthelmintic action.

Praziquantel acts by interfering with the relation of intercellular concentration impairing both motility and function of the suckers of the cestodes, while, Levamisole acts as an agonist of Nicotinic Acetylcholine receptor of nematodes resulting to paralysis of the parasite.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:

• Dogs: administer 1 tablet per 10 Kg of body weight.
• For the control of tapeworms, roundworms & hookworms – treat every 3 months.
• For whipworms – treat every 6 – 8 weeks after 3 months of age.

Or as prescribed by a licensed veterinarian.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• Should not be given to puppies less than 4 weeks old or kittens less than 6 weeks old
• Avoid using in pregnant animals; use only if the benefit of therapy outweighs the risk.

CAUTION:

 Foods, Drugs, Devices, and Cosmetics Act prohibits dispensing without prescription by a licensed veterinarian.

PRECAUTION:

Adverse reactions like vomiting, lethargy, anorexia, salivation, and diarrhea could be observed but the incidence of these effects is less than 5% in both dogs and cats.
